Industrial 3D Printing

SLS

SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process where a laser fuses powdered material, typically nylon or polymers, layer by layer to create a solid object. A thin layer of powder is spread on a build platform, and the laser selectively scans and fuses the powder based on a 3D model. The platform lowers, and the process repeats until the object is complete. Unfused powder supports the structure during printing and is removed afterward. SLS produces strong, detailed parts without needing support structures, ideal for complex geometries and functional prototypes.

Metal

DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering): A metal 3D printing process where a laser fuses metal powder particles layer by layer without fully melting them, creating complex, high-strength parts. The powder bed supports the structure, and unfused powder is removed post-printing. Used for precise components in aerospace and medical fields.

SLM (Selective Laser Melting): Similar to DMLS, SLM fully melts metal powder with a laser to form dense, solid parts layer by layer. It requires a powder bed and post-processing to remove unfused powder. Ideal for high-performance applications like turbine blades.

Binder Jetting: A metal 3D printing method where a liquid binder is selectively deposited onto a metal powder bed to bond layers, forming a "green" part. The part is then sintered in a furnace to fuse the metal, removing the binder. It’s faster for larger parts but may have lower density, suited for non-critical applications.

FFF / FDM

FFF / FDM

FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) or FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) is a 3D printing process where a thermoplastic filament is melted and extruded through a nozzle, depositing material layer by layer to build a 3D object based on a digital model. The nozzle moves in a controlled pattern, and the material solidifies quickly after extrusion. The build platform lowers incrementally for each new layer. FFF/FDM is widely used for its affordability, versatility, and ability to create functional prototypes and parts, though it may require support structures for complex designs.

SUPERIOR SURFACE FINISH OF COMPLEX GEOMETRIES

DUAL NOZZLE 3D PRINTING

Two printheads can assist in printing support structures, ensuring high printing quality for complex geometries in conjunction with the support material solution.

Water-Soluble Support Materials

When printing complex geometries such as piping, where manually removing support material is challenging, water-soluble materials can be used. These materials support the structure during printing and dissolve in water afterward, ensuring perfect printing quality.

Easy-to-Breakaway Support Materials

The independent dual extruder design makes it easy to remove support material without worrying about rough contact surfaces caused by peeling.
